Why Green Valley

 Why Green Valley?

To put it another way, Green Valley has a population density of 660 happy people per square mile, while Lake Havasu comes in at 975, Apache Junction 930, Mesa 3,171, Scottsdale 1,100 and the Sun Cities 2,642 per square mile.

The average age in Green Valley is just over 70 while the Sun Cities have an average age of 75. Mesa, Scottsdale, Apache Junction and Lake Havasu have much younger average ages of about 41 because of the huge number of snow birds who winter there in January, February and March.

Because Green Valley is just far enough away from a major city, the crime rate is extremely low. There is criminal activity in Lake Havasu, Apache Junction, Mesa and Scottsdale.

The cost of living index of 104.9 for Green Valley is comparable to the Sun Cities at 109, Mesa at 110.6, Scottsdale 105.5, Apache Junction 100.3 and Lake Havasu 96.5
